Egypt's Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, voiced strong condemnation of Israeli actions aimed at creating a new reality that forces Palestinians into displacement and transfers them against their will from their homeland.

He highlighted that the number of displaced persons in Gaza now comprises one-third of its population, a clear violation of international humanitarian law.

During a conference in Paris titled "Support for Gaza," Minister Shoukry emphasized that since the outbreak of the conflict in Gaza, the Egyptian people have contributed humanitarian aid, totaling 5,400 tons, through civil society and government organizations.

This significant humanitarian support has been provided despite the economic challenges facing Egypt. Moreover, the combined international community's aid contributions have not surpassed this volume.

He continued by underscoring that the aid delivered so far falls significantly short of addressing the civilian needs in Gaza. Additionally, Israel's deliberate and complex procedures for delivering humanitarian aid have exacerbated the deteriorating situation in the region, raising concerns about the underlying motives.

Minister Shoukry revealed that Egypt has called for an immediate and sustainable ceasefire.
