IBM announces new General Manager for IBM Egypt

With over 25 years of experience at IBM in several roles includes sales and leadership positions, Marwa Abbas succeeds Abdoush as IBM Egypt’s new General Manager

International technology corporation IBM announced its selection for the new General Manager of IBM Egypt, Marwa Abbas, yesterday as Wael Abdoush moves onward to head IBM’s Gulf, Levant and Pakistan endeavors as its new GM for those regions.

With over 25 years of experience at IBM in several roles includes sales and leadership positions, Marwa Abbas succeeds Abdoush as IBM Egypt’s new General Manager.

Abbas, who previously led IBM MEA Digital Sales center out of Cairo, will be responsible for managing IBM’s overall business operations in Egypt, in addition to her role as the technology leader, driving business growth and expanding our clients’ relationships.

“I am very excited to lead IBM Egypt at this pivotal point to drive strategic partnerships and alliances aimed at accelerating Egypt’s digital transformation and aligning with the national agenda.
