Egypt’s benchmark EGX 30 index gained 0.45%, closing Wednesday’s trading session at 55,679.72 points.

The EGX 70 index, which tracks small and mid-cap stocks, lost 0.44% to 21,225.15 points, while the broader EGX 100 index advanced 0.03% to 27,744.78 points. The Sharia Index climbed 0.11% to 6,566.37 points.

The exchange’s total market capitalization stood at around EGP 4.381 trillion, up from EGP 4.354 trillion at the previous close, a gain of approximately EGP 27 billion.

Trading value reached EGP 15,1 billion, with 3,42 billion securities traded across 334,221 transactions.

Egyptian investors recorded a net sell of EGP 174,1 million in stocks, while foreign investors posted a net purchase of EGP 194,6 million. Arab investors recorded a net sell of EGP 20,5 million.

TransOceans Tours surged 20%, closing at $ 0.072. KORRA rose 19.81%, ending the session at EGP 5.14. The Arab Ceramic Co. – Ceramica Remas gained 12%, closing at EGP 1.40. Al Tawfeek Leasing Company (A.T.LEASE) rose 10.29%, ending the session at EGP 7.50. Misr Fertilizers Production Company – Mopco climbed 9.03%, closing at EGP 46.50.

Alexandria New Medical Center dropped 11.72%, closing at EGP 92.33. Subscription Rights Of Lotus For Agricultural Investment & Development-1 declined 11.39%, ending the session at EGP 0.786. Lotus For Agricultural Investments and Development fell 9.22%, closing at EGP 0.935. Gulf Canadian Real Estate Investment Co. decreased 6.59%, ending the session at EGP 2.55. Pioneers Properties For Urban Development - PRE Group declined 6.44%, closing at EGP 9.15.
