The Egyptian Exchange continues to run in the green with a 3-day streak, adding EGP 8.4 billion to market capitalization.

Benchmark index EGX 30 was up by 1.49% to close the session with 10,329.66 points, followed by EGX 50 which saw a slightly higher climb of 1.57% to end at 1,960.92 points.

EGX 70 jumped by 1.93% to end at 2,276.55 points, with EGX 100 also in the green with 1.77% to close Tuesday’s trading with 3,260.74 points.

Today’s trading volume saw 1.05 billion shares traded through 68,719 transactions, with a turnover of EGP 1.89 billion.

Market capitalization was recorded at EGP 703.71 billion, adding EGP 8.4 billion compared to yesterday’s EGP 695.31 billion.

Trading on securities saw foreign and Arab investors as net sellers with EGP 233.42 million and EGP 52.17 million, respectively. Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 285.59 million.

The top gains of the session were by El Nasr Clothes & Textiles (Kabo) which climbed by 11.51%, Lecico Egypt by 10.12%, and Egypt Aluminum by 8.50%.

The biggest losses of the session were by Odin for Investment & Development which dropped by 5.38%, Extracted Oils by 3.89%, and Rakta Paper Manufacturing by 3.37%.
