The Egyptian Exchange announced that it has received an application to list the shares of Petroleum Marine Services on the Egyptian securities listing schedule in the main market, as part of the regulatory procedures for listing new companies.

In a disclosure issued on Thursday, the EGX said the application was submitted to the Listing Department on June 11, 2026. The submitted documents are currently being reviewed, while the required procedures are being completed ahead of referring the file to the Listing Committee for a final decision.

According to the disclosure, the company’s issued capital to be listed stands at around $120 million, distributed over 12 million shares, with a nominal value of $10 per share.

The EGX noted that the listing application announcement will be published for five working days starting from the date of submission, in line with Article 20 of the Listing and Delisting Rules issued by the Board of Directors of the Financial Regulatory Authority under Resolution No. 11 of 2014 and its amendments.

The potential listing of Petroleum Marine Services marks a preliminary step toward the company joining the EGX main market, subject to fulfilling all regulatory requirements and securing the approval of the Listing Committee.

Petroleum Marine Services is considered one of the leading companies affiliated with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation in Egypt and the Middle East. The company operates as a main contractor and service provider in marine contracting and offshore services, particularly for the oil and gas sector.

The government has completed an inventory of a group of state-owned companies that were previously affiliated with the public business sector, in preparation for listing 20 of them on the EGX. So far, 12 companies have been listed, while eight others are being prepared for temporary listing. In addition, 10 companies affiliated with the petroleum sector are also being prepared for temporary listing, according to previous statements by Hashem El-Sayed, Assistant to the Prime Minister and CEO of the State-Owned Companies Unit.

In April, the Egyptian Exchange approved the temporary listing of six state-owned companies, in a move aimed at expanding the base of listed companies and accelerating the implementation of the government’s IPO program.

The list included Misr Mining, Alexandria Refractories, El Nasr Glass and Crystal, the Egyptian Ferroalloys Company, which is affiliated with the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries, as well as the Egyptian Company for Pipes and Cement Products and El Nahda Industries, both of which are affiliated with the Holding Company for Chemical Industries.
