Egypt & tunisia sign 8 MoUs to strengthen bilateral cooperation

Egypt and Tunisia signed eight memoranda of understanding (MoUs) across a range of sectors, in a move aimed at boosting bilateral cooperation and deepening partnership between the two countries.

The agreements included an MoU on cooperation in health and medical sciences, as well as two executive programs for youth and sports covering the period 2026–2027.

An MoU was also signed on export development, along with an executive program for cooperation in social affairs, and another MoU supporting the development of small, medium, and micro enterprises.

In the field of consumer protection and market oversight, the two sides signed an executive program building on a previously agreed MoU.

The ceremony also witnessed the signing of an MoU between Egypt’s Institute for Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Tunisian International Diplomatic Academy.

The proceedings concluded with the signing of the minutes of the 18th session of the Egyptian–Tunisian Joint Higher Committee by Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and his Tunisian counterpart, Sarah Al-Zafrani.
