VXI, a global leader in business process outsourcing (BPO) services, plans to increase its investments in Egypt to $135 million by the end of 2028.

Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Amr Talaat, visited the company’s Cairo headquarters, where he reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering an attractive and supportive environment for the growth of the outsourcing industry.

He emphasized that encouraging investment in BPO services is a core pillar of Egypt’s strategy to position itself as a preferred destination for global companies in this field.

“Egypt is witnessing continued expansion in the number of outsourcing centers,” Talaat stated, “thanks to the country’s efforts to grow the sector through digital upskilling and tailored incentive packages.

This contributes significantly to increasing Egypt’s digital exports and reinforcing its role as a global outsourcing hub.”

He added, “We are continuing to collaborate with outsourcing companies to expand the pool of skilled talent equipped with the competencies these companies require.”

During the visit, the Minister toured the company’s facilities and was briefed by VXI executives on the firm’s expansion plans in Egypt. These plans include growing the local workforce from over 1,000 employees today to more than 5,000 employees by the end of 2028.

VXI established its operations in Egypt in December 2023, with official launch activities commencing in March 2024. The company currently serves clients in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, the Netherlands, and the United States—operating in six different languages.

The Egypt expansion is one of VXI’s most prominent global initiatives, driven by rising global demand for customer experience solutions backed by cutting-edge technology, and the company’s confidence in the capabilities and professionalism of Egyptian talent.
