ENKA, a Turkish company specializing in energy, infrastructure, and real estate development, is exploring investment plans in Egypt. The discussions took place during a meeting between ENKA’s Chairman, Mohammed Tara, and Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Hassan El-Khateeb.
The meeting focused on investment opportunities in Egypt's renewable energy, infrastructure, airport and hospital development, healthcare, and public-private partnership projects.
Tara emphasized ENKA’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the Egyptian market, citing the company’s extensive experience in executing large-scale projects worldwide.
Minister El-Khateeb highlighted Egypt’s progress in infrastructure development and its strategic geographical position, large market, and skilled workforce, all of which provide a favorable environment for foreign investment, especially from Turkey.
The meeting follows the Minister’s recent trip to Istanbul, where he met with top Turkish companies and extended an invitation to ENKA to visit Egypt to explore potential investment collaborations with the government.
