Egypt's Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, revealed the state's investment volume in Alexandria and Beheira over the past eight years, surpassing 812 billion Egyptian pounds. Madbouly made this announcement during his speech at the National Youth Conference in the presence of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

He explained that 46 billion Egyptian pounds were spent in the healthcare, social protection, and education sectors. This investment has resulted in an increase of approximately 21% in the number of classrooms in Alexandria and 18.5% in Beheira.

Madbouly emphasized that the significant leap was seen in technical education, with a 57% increase in Alexandria and 51% in Beheira. He remarked, "The state recognizes the importance of this type of education," pointing out the establishment of schools such as international and Egyptian-Japanese schools, as well as the development and transformation of educational buildings, marking a qualitative shift.

Furthermore, Madbouly highlighted the tremendous progress in higher education over the past eight years, stating, "More than 40 billion Egyptian pounds have been invested in the development of Alexandria and Damietta universities, in addition to the Egyptian-Japanese University, which is a comprehensive scientific city attracting visitors from neighboring countries due to its distinguished educational standards.

Other projects include Borg El Arab Technological University, Alexandria Private University, currently under construction, and the upcoming Senghor University. Thus, Damietta has become an educational hub at the global level, with a cluster of universities making it a significant attraction in the region."

These investments in Alexandria and Beheira reflect the Egyptian government's commitment to fostering economic growth, social development, and educational advancement.

The substantial funding directed towards healthcare, social protection, and education has yielded tangible results, including the expansion of classrooms and the establishment of specialized schools.

Moreover, the focus on technical education and the development of universities have positioned Egypt as a center for quality higher education, attracting students and scholars from both domestic and international communities.
