This came during his meeting with Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, to follow up on SCZone’s recent developments.
The project comprises three phases. Phase one encompasses 300,000 square meters, generating an annual revenue of $230 million.
On the sidelines of the signing, SCZONE Chairman Walid Gamal El-Din stated that this signing is the sixth out of 15 projects being studied to be implemented in the industrial zone of Qantara West
He added that more than 25,000 direct and indirect job opportunities will be created upon completion of the establishment and operation of these projects.
The planned factory will be the Thai company’s first factory in the Middle East and Africa and will provide 1,500 jobs
