Egypt grants tuition fee reprieve for Gaza students amid ongoing strife

The Palestinian Embassy in Cairo announced that the Central Administration for Incoming Students at the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has approved the deferral of tuition fees for Palestinian students studying from Gaza for the current academic year.

The students will also be provided with enrollment certificates for submission to the General Administration for Passports, Immigration, and Nationality, in accordance with the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities dated October 28, 2023.

This initiative acknowledges the challenging circumstances faced by the Palestinian people due to the aggressive Israeli attacks, ethnic cleansing, and genocide perpetrated by the occupying forces, as reported by the Palestinian News Agency "WAFA."

Egypt and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research were praised for their continuous efforts to alleviate the burdens on Palestinian students during these difficult times.
