Meanwhile, the Sharia Index climbed 0.26% to 6,581.78 points, and the EGX35-LV index edged higher by 0.03% to close at 6,728.87 points.
The Egyptian Exchange’s benchmark EGX 30 index declined by 0.31% to close at 55,106.54 points at the end of Wednesday’s trading session.
Meanwhile, the Sharia Index climbed 0.26% to 6,581.78 points, and the EGX35-LV index edged higher by 0.03% to close at 6,728.87 points.
The EGX100 increased by 0.69% to 27,578.41 points, while the EGX70 index of small- and medium-sized companies rose 0.79% to 21,269.03 points.
The exchange’s total market capitalization stood at around EGP 4,282 trillion, up from EGP 4,272 trillion at Tuesday’s close, a gain of approximately EGP 9.7 billion.
Trading value reached EGP 11.41 billion, with 3.8 billion securities traded through 252,457 transactions.
Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 316.6 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with net transactions of EGP 84.6 million and EGP 232 million, respectively.

TAWASOA For Factoring up 19.94% to EGP 7.58. GPI For Urban Growth rose 12.41% to EGP 1.54, and Amer Group Holding advanced 10.09% to EGP 6.33.
