Recovering from Monday’s slip, EGX rallies into the green on Tuesday

Benchmark index EGX 30 was up by 0.52% to end the session at 26,973 points

After slipping into the red yesterday, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rallied back into the green during mid-week trading.

Benchmark index EGX 30 was up by 0.52% to end the session at 26,973 points.

EGX 70 rose by 0.84% to 5,905.29 points, followed by EGX 100 with a climb of 0.86% to 8,575.47 points.

Tuesday trading reported 585.59 million shares exchanged with a turnover of EGP 3.43 billion.

Market capitalization was recorded at EGP 1.81 trillion.

Trading on securities saw Egyptian traders as net buyers with EGP 202.73 million. Foreign and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 111.56 million and EGP 91.16 million, respectively.
