During his weekly cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stressed on President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s European tour and efforts to enhance Egypt’s economic and industrial environment. The Prime Minister highlighted the significance of the President’s visits to Denmark, Norway, and Ireland, emphasizing the strategic partnerships and agreements signed during the tour.

Madbouly underlined the importance of President El-Sisi’s meetings with international business leaders and global companies, which showcased Egypt’s economic reforms and investment incentives. The discussions highlighted opportunities in renewable energy and other promising sectors, reinforcing Egypt’s position as an attractive destination for foreign investment and a key player in regional and global economic networks.
The Prime Minister also discussed his participation in the Doha Forum 2024 on behalf of President El-Sisi. He held meetings with Qatari business leaders, including representatives from the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and the Qatari Businessmen Association, to explore investment opportunities in Egypt. These discussions focused on measures the government has taken to improve the investment climate, aiming to attract significant Qatari capital across various sectors.
Domestically, Madbouly reviewed his recent visits to industrial hubs, including El-Robiki and Port Said, where he inspected developmental projects and engaged directly with investors to address their concerns. He emphasized the government’s ongoing commitment to fostering a competitive industrial base and increasing private sector participation. The visits underscored the determination of Egyptian manufacturers to localize industries and leverage the country’s vast resources to expand exports and enhance the global competitiveness of Egyptian products.
