The Spring Meetings will gather government officials from various countries, World Bank Group country governors, private sector entities, civil society organizations, academics, and other stakeholders to discuss collaborative efforts aimed at achieving sustainable development and eradicating poverty.

Al-Mashat highlighted the critical timing of the meetings amidst intertwined challenges, including geopolitical tensions, climate change, and food security issues. She emphasized the importance of strengthening the World Bank's role in prioritizing development financing and promoting climate action.

Throughout the Spring Meetings, Al-Mashat will participate in various events, including the Development Committee Plenary, the G24 Ministerial Meeting, and high-level sessions such as the African Consultative Group with the World Bank President. Additionally, she will contribute to discussions on debt swaps for climate action, economic policy reform, opportunities and challenges for the Egyptian economy, private sector involvement in climate action, and engagements with Generation Unlimited.

The Minister will also conduct extensive bilateral meetings with multilateral and bilateral development partners to bolster Egypt's international relations and support its development vision.
