Minister of International Cooperation (MoIC), Rania Al-Mashat, is representing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, at the International Development Association (IDA) Africa Heads of State Summit held in Kenya.

This summit serves as a platform for discussing the aspirations of the African continent in collaboration with the IDA. The International Development Association (IDA) is part of the World Bank that helps the world’s low-income countries, according to their website.

The IDA, known as the world's largest institution providing low-interest financing and grants, aims to support countries in their investment endeavors and enhance the well-being of their citizens.

Africa, a focal point of the IDA's global mission to eradicate poverty on a sustainable planet, receives over 70% of the institution's loans and grants.

The summit brings together representatives from African governments, civil society, and youth eager to express their ambitions and seek increased support and assistance from the IDA.
