Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) signs two financing contracts with Aman amounting to EGP 160 million.

These agreements came as follows: the first funding, worth EGP 100 million, to finance the micro project in all governorates.

The second funding, worth EGP 60 million, was allocated to women in all governorates within the framework of the project to support women in microfinance.

The signing of these contracts marks the beginning of the agency's plans for 2024. These plans align with Egypt's strategic objective of expanding financial support for micro-enterprises and engaging with a greater number of specialized companies in this field, particularly for women in various regions, with a focus on Upper Egypt and border areas, according to a statement by the CEO of MSMEDA, Bassel Rahmy.

Recently in November, within the scope of implementing Egypt’s strategy to promote micro enterprises, MSMEDA signed a microfinance project contract with Erada Microfinance with investments worth EGP 100 million to finance micro-projects across all Egyptian governorates.

In November, Rahmy presented the agency’s efforts during the period from January to October 2023, which provided up to EGP 4.1 billion to finance 128 thousand projects across Egypt.
