In this regard, efforts were focused on achieving integrated rural development to narrow the income gap and reduce migration to urban areas. Priority was given to developing the Sinai Peninsula and Upper Egypt as part of a consistent and integrated development program. In addition, strong development impetus was provided for promising areas in governorates to leverage existing opportunities and create more job opportunities for youth.

El-Said added that these approaches are in line with the strategic parameters of sustainable development within the framework of "Egypt Vision 2030" and the establishment of principles for human rights to enjoy a decent life on a fair and sustainable basis.

El-Said emphasized that community participation is the basic guarantee for localizing sustainable development goals, achieving balanced regional development, and bridging development gaps between different governorates, in line with Egypt Vision 2030.

Regarding the Citizen Investment Plan for North Sinai Governorate, El-Said explained that the number of development projects in the governorate amounts to 152 projects.

The value of these projects reached EGP 9.7 billion, focusing on infrastructure development, agriculture, irrigation, and water resources. For South Sinai Governorate, the value of projects amounted to EGP 5.2 billion, distributed among the development of roads, transportation, and communications sectors.

Egypt has continued to focus on developing its various governorates as part of its sustainable development plan.

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has been making significant efforts to bridge the development gaps between governorates, improve the quality of life for citizens, and create new job opportunities for young people.

With the recent unveiling of the "Citizen Investment Plan" for the North and South Sinai Governorates, there is renewed optimism for economic growth and development in the country.
