The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session on a mixed note, with the benchmark EGX30 index declining 0.16% to close at 54,822.66 points.

Meanwhile, the EGX70 EWI index of small- and mid-cap stocks rose 0.15% to 20,744.89 points, while the broader EGX100 EWI gained 0.27% to close at 27,252.91 points. The Sharia Index also lost 0.18% to 6,639.47 points.

The total market capitalization stood at around EGP 4,321 trillion, up from EGP 4,304 trillion at the previous close, a gain of approximately EGP 17 billion.

Total trading value reached EGP 10.009 billion, with 3,07 billion securities across 243,471 transactions.

Egyptian investors were net buyers with a net value of EGP 245.099 million, while Arab and foreign investors recorded net sales of EGP 141.833 million and EGP 103.266 million, respectively.

Top Gainers

National Printing jumped 19.98%, closing at EGP 42.10 per share.

B Investments Holding rose 19.76% to close at EGP 62.25 per share.

Grand Investment Capital gained 8.80%, ending the session at EGP 43.66 per share.

Delta For Printing & Packaging climbed 7.81% to close at EGP 353.62 per share.

Saudi Egyptian Investment & Finance advanced 7.67%, closing at EGP 248.30 per share.

Top Decliners

Speed Medical dropped 19.93%, closing at EGP 0.482 per share.

KORRA declined 4.96% to close at EGP 6.32 per share.

Egypt for Poultry fell 4.09%, ending the session at EGP 11.03 per share.

Mansourah Poultry decreased 3.55%, closing at EGP 2.72 per share.

Nasr Company for Civil Works declined 3.51%, closing at EGP 8.25 per share.
