Sources have confirmed that Director of Public Relations, Social Responsibility and Quality Management at Orange Egypt, Hala Abdel-Wadood, has assumed a new position at beverage giant Coca-Cola, effective July.

Abdel-Wadood will be joining Coca-Cola as its new of Regional Director for External Relations and Sustainability at Coca-Cola North Africa, according to BT sources.

Through her position at Orange, contributed to the implementation of several important community initiatives, leading Orange to be one of the top brands in regards of social responsibility.

Orange’s most recent initiative was its contribution to renew and develop the only pediatric section treating pediatric tuberculosis and thoracic diseases at El Abbassia Chest Hospital in cooperation with Maxim Foundation.

Abdel-Wadood graduated from the Mass Communication Department of the American University, specializing in journalism, media and advertising, as well as in psychology. She is also a member of the American Chamber of Commerce, in addition to her membership in the Sustainable Development Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce.
