Egypt is looking forward to strengthening financial, investment, and economic cooperation with Bahrain, says Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk.
The FinMin announced that both countries are eager to leverage their long-standing historical ties to address global economic challenges and advance their shared goals of sustainable development.
The two countries are working to create broader opportunities for mutual investment and stronger partnerships between the private sectors of Egypt and Bahrain, Kouchouk stated during a meeting with Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The meeting, which also included Bahrain's Ambassador to Cairo, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, focused on exploring new avenues for collaboration.
Kouchouk also pointed out that Egypt’s Ministerial Economic Group is working in harmony to create a thriving economic environment that is conducive to both local and foreign investments.
Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the commitment of Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Egypt’s PM Mostafa Madbouly to advancing bilateral cooperation and exploring broader horizons for partnership, underscoring the continuous collaboration and coordination between the two countries.
Kouchouk has previously highlighted Egypt’s keenness to exchange experiences with the Bahraini side in the development of financial policies to stimulate economic growth as well as bilateral cooperation.
