President Sisi unveils new healthcare, transportation projects to foster national development

President Sisi inaugurated the bone marrow transplantation unit at Al-Mawasah University Hospital.

President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi inaugurated the Kom Hamada Specialized Hospital in the Beheira governorate via video conference.

The hospital, built on a 3,100 square meter area at a cost of 450 million Egyptian pounds, is part of an initiative aimed at eliminating waiting lists.

Furthermore, President Sisi inaugurated the bone marrow transplantation unit at Al-Mawasah University Hospital.

The unit consists of seven bone marrow transplantation capsules, along with accompanying facilities such as a stem cell separation room and a cell preservation and freezing laboratory.

The unit was entirely manufactured in Germany and has a capacity to accommodate 60 to 70 bone marrow transplantations. It serves the governorates of Alexandria, Matrouh, and Kafr El Sheikh, offering free transplantation procedures.

The unit follows international protocols and guidelines for bone marrow transplantation units, contributing to the reduction of waiting lists in Egypt.

Additionally, President Sisi inaugurated the Sadat Tunnel and Bridges Project at the intersection of Sadat Road and the Sadat Tunnel beneath the Alexandria Corniche.

These inaugurations mark significant milestones in Egypt's healthcare infrastructure and transportation development. The establishment of the Kom Hamada Specialized Hospital addresses the pressing issue of lengthy waiting lists, ensuring efficient access to medical services for the population.

Moreover, the bone marrow transplantation unit at Al-Mawasah University Hospital represents a breakthrough in medical advancements, providing advanced treatment options and enhancing the healthcare system's capabilities.

Lastly, the Sadat Tunnel and Bridges Project facilitates smoother traffic flow and improved connectivity, contributing to the overall development and efficiency of the transportation network.
