The price of gold saw a significant increase of EGP 70 per ounce at the end of Monday's trading, which remained stable at the beginning of Tuesday's trading on April 25, 2023.

The price of 21-carat gold reached EGP 2,500 on Tuesday, April 25 after a surge on Monday.

According to Amr Rizk, an expert in gold jewelry, has said in press remarks that the prices of gold are unstable, experiencing fluctuations between highs and lows.

He explained that the instability is due to the fact that the parallel dollar market is not stable, fluctuating between upward and downward movements, adding that the euro is being closely monitored.

The gold market has been affected by several economic factors in recent months, including the weakening of the US dollar and the fluctuations in the global stock markets.

The demand for gold has also increased, with investors turning to the precious metal as a safe haven during times of economic uncertainty.

This is expected to boost the demand for gold as investors seek a safe investment option in the face of a potentially growing economy.
