The project is expected to create 1,330 job opportunities during the construction, operation, and maintenance phases.
This was in the presence of Egypt’s Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, and Bavarian State Prime Minister, Markus Soder.
Esmat noted that Egypt's strategy focuses on effectively managing and maximizing the benefits of its natural resources while aiming to reduce carbon emissions and promote green energy.
Through the establishment of the mechanism, Egypt will set up green hydrogen and ammonia plants in the Suez Canal Economic Zone in Egypt, in partnership with several countries.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly emphasized the significance of the strategy in aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals outlined in Egypt’s Vision 2030.
