During the meeting, Investment Minister El-Khatib emphasized the government's deep commitment to the automotive sector, recognizing its key role in attracting foreign investments and promoting industrial growth.
Passenger car sales fell 14.4%, totaling 8,300 units sold in August, while bus sales dipped slightly to 604 vehicles, down from 643 in July. Conversely, truck sales saw a minor increase, rising to 1,100 from 1,000 in the previous month.
