Instashop will now operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Talabat, further expanding the company’s network of grocery and retail partners across the MENA region.
The new app was launched by Ibrahim El-Segini, the Head of the Consumer Protection Agency, during a press conference on Sunday.
El-Segini highlighted the importance of this initiative in tackling recent issues affecting consumer rights, particularly in the aftermath of the Black Friday shopping season.
In a notification sent to creators utilizing services such as AdSense, YouTube’s AdSense, AdMob, or Google Ads Manager, the company stated, “We will no longer pay earnings in US dollars in Egypt.”
