The chemicals and fertilizers sector accounts for 24% of Egypt’s total non-petroleum exports, said Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council head Khaled Abul Makarem
Fertilizer products was at the top of the sector’s exports with a 54% climb to hit $1.480 billion compared to H1 2021’s $960 million
The top export from the sector were fertilizers, which grew by 51% to an estimated export value of $1.16 billion
