The total trade volume between Egypt and Denmark amounted to $292 million during the first ten months of 2024, compared to $240 million during the same period in 2023.
In contrast, the main commodity groups Egypt imported from Gabon during the first nine months of 2024 were wood and its products, including charcoal valued at $638,000, alcoholic beverages and vinegar valued at $4,000, electrical and mechanical machinery and parts valued at $5,000.
The data also highlighted investment flows between the two countries. Jordanian investments in Egypt increased to $134 million during the fiscal year 2022/2023
Investments between Egypt and G20 nations also showed significant growth. Investments from G20 countries in Egypt rose to $12 billion in the 2022/2023 fiscal year, up from $8.7 billion in 2021/2022
Malaysian investments in Egypt grew significantly, reaching $24 million in the 2022/2023 fiscal year compared to $5.1 million in 2021/2022
