In a commendable display of solidarity and swift action, the National Women's Council has expressed gratitude to the United Nations Women for their rapid response in delivering crucial humanitarian aid to women and children in the Gaza Strip.

Led by Dr. Maya Morsy, the National Women's Council acknowledges the pivotal role played by Ms. Sima Bahous, the Executive Director of UN Women, for promptly responding to Egypt's call for aid and coordinating efforts to address the pressing needs in Gaza. This collaborative effort aligns with the outlined requirements presented by Minister Amal Hamad of Palestine.

The Council, deeply moved by the plight of women and children enduring over 120 days of aggression and human rights violations, calls for urgent global intervention. Dr. Morsy emphasizes the need for immediate cessation of aggression in Gaza, advocating for safe, rapid, and sustainable humanitarian aid access without forced displacement.
