In a recent update from news reports, it has been indicated that the Israeli military has publicly disclosed its engagement in bombing 200 sites in Gaza since the early hours of the morning. This series of airstrikes transpired following the conclusion of the seventh day of the temporary humanitarian ceasefire, with no formal extension declared.

Israeli forces have recommenced their attacks across diverse areas in the Gaza Strip, utilizing a combination of land, sea, and air maneuvers. The original seven-day ceasefire, which commenced on Friday, November 24, was initially extended for an additional three days.

This development occurs within the context of an ongoing Israeli offensive since October 7, resulting in a devastating toll of over 15,000 lives lost, including 6,150 children and over 4,000 women, with more than 36,000 individuals sustaining injuries—a distressing figure that continues to rise.

While the temporary ceasefire facilitated the exchange of prisoners in Gaza and permitted the delivery of humanitarian aid, the situation has taken a worrisome turn with the resumption of hostilities after the initial week of relative calm.
