In a recent telephone conversation, President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi engaged with Tunisian President Kais Saied, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and mutual interests.

Both leaders expressed their commitment to collaborative efforts aimed at further developing ties between the two nations.

The discussion also delved into the current situation in Palestinian territories. President el-Sisi outlined Egypt's endeavors to leverage the ongoing ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to establish a permanent cessation of hostilities.

The leaders emphasized the importance of joint efforts to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, a sentiment praised by President Saied.

Both parties agreed on the critical need for a lasting ceasefire and urgent action to provide comprehensive support for the residents of the Gaza Strip.

Additionally, they underscored the imperative of working towards a fair and comprehensive resolution to the Palestinian issue.
