French Foreign Minister, Catherine Colonna, has announced discussions with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry to strengthen joint coordination. Colonna expressed gratitude for Egypt's efforts in delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Taking to Twitter, Colonna stated, "Over 100 tons of humanitarian shipments have already been delivered. We continue our efforts; there must be an immediate ceasefire, increased aid, and action without delay thereafter."

In another development, France strongly condemned the strike on the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza, resulting in seven casualties. The spokesperson for the French Foreign Ministry, Anne-Claire Legendre, emphasized the applicability of international humanitarian law to all parties.

Legendre, in a statement, underscored that international humanitarian law "specifically mandates the protection of medical institutions and imposes clear principles of distinction, proportionality, and precaution at all times and in all places."
