The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that more than 100 French citizens have successfully exited the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing, expressing gratitude to the Egyptian authorities for their assistance in evacuating French nationals and their families from the conflict-ridden region.

In an official statement, the ministry reported that two groups of French citizens, along with employees and individuals with rights, managed to leave Gaza safely on Monday and Tuesday. This development has increased the total number of individuals France has assisted in evacuating to over a hundred.

The ministry emphasized the care and support provided to French citizens by the French Embassy and the Consulate General in Cairo, as well as by teams from the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs' Crisis and Support Center.

France is committed to continuing its efforts in the coming days to ensure that all French citizens and their families can leave Gaza. The safety and well-being of its citizens in the conflict zone remain a top priority for French diplomatic endeavors.

The French Consulate General in Jerusalem has maintained constant communication with French citizens since the onset of the crisis and continues its efforts to facilitate the departure of those who wish to leave.

France reiterated its commitment to stand by Egypt in increasing humanitarian aid and ensuring its delivery to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
