June 5 | EGX ends Monday trading with mixed performance

Today’s trading saw 1.43 billion shares exchanged with a turnover of EGP 3.05 billion

The Egyptian Exchange closed Monday trading on a varied note, with a recorded market capitalization of EGP 1.12 trillion.

Benchmark EGX 30 dropped by 0.63% to end the session at 17,345.9 points, while EGX 50 was down by 0.99% to 3,213.22 points.

On the other side, EGX 50 and EGX 100 closed the session on a positive note, climbing by 2.04% at 3,461.23 points and by 1.28% at 5,113.41 points, respectively.

Today’s trading saw 1.43 billion shares exchanged with a turnover of EGP 3.05 billion.

Trading on securities saw Egyptian and Arab investors as net buyers with EGP 107.61 million and EGP 11.93 million, respectively. Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 119.54 million.

The top gains of the session were by Belton Financial Holding which surged by 19.93%, Prime Holding by 14.56%, and Speed Medical by 11.61%.

The largest losses of the session were by Delta Construction & Rebuilding which fell by 17.65%, AJWA for Food Industries company Egypt by 5.65%, and B Investments Holding by 5.23%.
