Today’s trading saw 704.26 million shares exchanged with a turnover of EGP 2.42 billion

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed trading on a varied note, with benchmark index EGX 30 the only index in the green, going up by 0.40% to 16,183.49 points.

EGX 50 dropped by 0.12% to 2,854.47 points, while EGX 70 fell by 1.01% to 2,983.64 points, and EGX 100 down by 0.80% to end the session at 4,454.06 points.

Today’s trading saw 704.26 million shares exchanged with a turnover of EGP 2.42 billion.

Market capitalization recorded EGP 1.055 trillion.

Trading on securities saw Arab and foreign investors as net buyers with EGP 102.24 million and EGP 125.14 million, respectively. Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 227.38 million.

The top gains of the session were by Orascom Development Egypt which climbed by 8.76%, CI Capital Holding For Financial Investments by 6.36%, and Obour Land For Food Industries by 5.38%.

The largest losses of the session were by Ismailia National Food Industries which fell by 8.68%, United Housing & Development by 6.53%, and Nasr Company for Civil Works by 6.23%.
