NTRA shares which telecom has most mobile users satisfied with their services

In terms of internet service quality, WE scored the highest at 76%, followed by Etisalat at 72%

Egypt’s telecom companies were recently ranked by Egypt’s National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) according to a new survey on mobile phone users’ satisfaction with services provided by local operators during the first half of 2021.

Participants were questioned on their operator’s network and branches, waiting times, diversity of systems and offers, quality of voice and internet services, as well as their customer service.

Overall, 79% of people were satisfied with Etisalat Misr, followed closely by Vodafone at 78%, 76% for WE, and 73% of Orange users.

When it comes to the in-branch experience, 76% of WE customers were happy with the company’s waiting time inside branches, followed by Orange at 71%, Etisalat at 67%, and Vodafone at 62%.

WE led the list for its diversity of systems and offerings by 66%, Etisalat came 2nd with 65% being satisfied, Vodafone at 63%, and Orange by 60%.

Around 80% of users happy with Etisalat’s quality of voice services, Vodafone’s voice services had 77% of its users happy, WE at 76% and Orange at 74%.

In terms of internet service quality, WE scored the highest at 76%, followed by Etisalat at 72%, Vodafone by 71%, and Orange by 67%.

Vodafone and WE scored the same on customer service (74%), with Etisalat at 70%, and orange at 61%.

Vodafone’s complaint resolution team left 71% of the brand’s users happy, closely followed by WE at 70%, Etisalat by 65%, and Orange by 57%.

The survey was carried out on 17,000 users of mobile phone services, taking into account the geographical distribution, age, and gender of all segments of society.
