Kidzonet Egypt is expanding its digital safety offerings with the launch of “Etmen” and “Etmen Ala El-Akhar” services, designed to help families protect children’s online experiences and manage digital access.

The services were developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA), CyShield, and Egypt’s four mobile network operators.

The collaboration enables the services to be provided through telecom networks, allowing families to access digital protection tools without the need for complex technical installation or continuous manual management.

Kidzonet Egypt said its solutions rely on advanced technologies for content classification and digital protection, aligned with international standards and best practices in online safety.

The “Etmen” service provides protection against inappropriate online content, while supporting safe browsing and search features. The service also helps protect users from websites and links that may pose cybersecurity risks.

Meanwhile, the “Etmen Ala El-Akhar” service provides an additional layer of parental control by allowing families to limit access to selected websites and social media applications, offering parents more flexibility in managing children’s digital activities.

Eng. Amr Nabil, General Manager of Kidzonet Egypt, said the services represent the result of years of research, development, and collaboration aimed at delivering practical digital protection solutions.

“Kidzonet Egypt is proud to provide the technology behind ‘Etmen’ and ‘Etmen Ala El-Akhar.’ We believe technology should enable children to benefit from the internet in a safer environment while providing Egyptian families with simple and effective solutions that give parents greater confidence,” Nabil said.

He added that the company’s solutions are designed to support the rapid digital transformation taking place in Egypt while addressing the growing need for safer online environments for children.

Kidzonet Egypt said the availability of the services through all four mobile operators reflects the importance of cooperation between regulators, telecom companies, and technology providers in developing digital safety solutions.

The company added that it will continue working with government entities, telecom operators, and strategic partners to develop technologies that enhance child protection and support a more secure digital ecosystem.
