Kidzonet Egypt has officially launched two new digital safety services, “Etmen” (Be Reassured) and “Etmen Ala El Akhar” (Reassure Yourself About Others), aimed at strengthening children’s protection online and supporting safer digital usage in Egypt.

The launch ceremony was attended by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Raafat Hindy, with the services introduced as part of efforts to provide families with tools that enable safer and more responsible internet use.

Kidzonet Egypt said the services were developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA), and Egypt’s four mobile operators, allowing families to access the services nationwide.

Amr Nabil, General Manager of Kidzonet Egypt, said the launch marks the result of years of development and collaboration to deliver practical solutions for protecting children in the digital environment.

He added that the services are powered by Kidzonet technologies and rely on advanced global solutions for content classification and online child protection, aligned with international standards.

The “Etmen” service provides protection from inappropriate content, supports safer browsing and search, and helps block websites and links that may pose cybersecurity risks.

Meanwhile, the “Etmen Ala El Akhar” service offers additional parental control features by limiting access to certain websites and social media applications, giving parents greater control based on their children’s needs.

Kidzonet Egypt said the availability of both services through mobile operators reflects cooperation between the regulatory sector and private companies to provide innovative digital safety solutions.

The company added that it will continue investing in developing technologies that enhance children’s online protection and support Egypt’s efforts to build a safer digital society.
