Agiba Petroleum Company announced a new addition to its production capacity following the successful activation of the Arcadia-28 well.

This came after the implementation of an advanced acid stimulation process on July 19, 2025, utilizing the latest technologies—similar to those previously applied in the Iris well.

The operation resulted in a daily production rate of approximately 4,100 barrels of oil equivalent, reinforcing the company’s plans to boost output and further develop its concession areas.

This marks another step forward in supporting Egypt’s national energy system.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources continues to implement its strategy aimed at maximizing local production of petroleum resources and securing the country’s energy needs.

As part of these efforts, companies within the sector are achieving ongoing success.
