The value of trade exchange between Egypt and Algeria increased to $622 million during the first 8 months of 2024, compared to $563 million during the same period in 2023, according to the latest data released by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
During the first 8 months of 2024, the volume of Egyptian exports to Algeria increased to $605 million, compared to $556 million during the same period in 2023.
Egypt's most important commodity groups exported to Algeria came as follows: Aromatic oils and cosmetics worth $84 million, Plastics and their products worth $75 million, and iron and its products worth $67 million.

The value of Algerian investments in Egypt recorded $13.7 million during FY2022/2023, while Egyptian investments in Algeria amounted to $4.5 million during FY 2022/2023.
