Egypt & Belarus sign MoU to enhance cooperation in investment field

This came under the scope of GAFI’s efforts to encourage and promote investments in Egypt in light of the objectives of the national economic development plan.

Egypt and Belarus signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the field of investment between the two countries.

This agreement was signed by the CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), Hossam Heiba, and the Director of the National Agency for Investment and Privatization of Belarus, Dmitry Krasovsky.

Heiba stressed that the MoU aims to exchange experiences to enhance the business climate in both countries.

This came under the scope of GAFI’s efforts to encourage and promote investments in Egypt in light of the objectives of the national economic development plan.

The CEO of GAFI ​​added the MoU encompassed the promotion of information exchange between the two entities regarding investment prospects, as well as the laws, regulations, and policies about the investment landscape in Egypt and Belarus.

Furthermore, the MoU also promotes the mutual exchange of business delegations and visits, aimed at sharing best practices and experiences in investment promotion between the two parties.

Additionally, it entails collaborative efforts in organizing conferences and seminars that target investors from both Egypt and Belarus.

Moreover, the MoU facilitates consensual meetings between businessmen and companies, fostering effective communication and creating opportunities for partnerships to flourish.
