The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) signed a cooperation agreement with UAE's Mashreq Global Network (MGN) to export banking and commercial business services from the network’s center in Egypt.

The signing ceremony was in the presence of Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly on the sidelines of his participation in the World Government Summit in Dubai.

Under the terms of this agreement, MGN will enhance its presence in Egypt by offering a diverse range of services. These services encompass data analysis, business intelligence, credit management, and various financial and banking solutions.

MGN export its expertise in areas such as risk management and product management, all originating from Egypt. The agreement will also provide 300 direct job opportunities through the course of the 3-year agreement.

“We are pleased to sign the agreement with the Mashreq Global Network to expand its operations in Egypt, this will help us in achieving Egypt’s digital strategy goals for developing the outsourcing industry by doubling exports and the creation of export-oriented job opportunities, as the diversity of foreign investment in the field of exporting services through the outsourcing system reflects investors’ confidence in the technical capabilities and digital skills of Egyptian youth,” CEO of ITIDA, Ahmed Elzaher, stated.
