Housing Minister meets Saudi delegation to discuss investment opportunities in Egypt

The housing minister presented investment opportunities available in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and food manufacturing to the Saudi delegation

Minster of Housing, Utilities & Urban Communities, Assem el Gazzar held a meeting with Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Turki Al Saud and Amr Afifi, CEO of Saudi SFIG Group to discuss available investment opportunities across various fields in Egypt.

The housing minister presented investment opportunities available in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and food manufacturing to the Saudi delegation. These fields among opportunities in the central business district in the New Administrative Capital, and the downtown towers area in New Alamein City were of interest to the delegation.

Prince Khaled bin Saud bin Turki Al Saud praised the great efforts made by Egypt to implement these giant projects in record times and in various fields, stressing that he has a great interest in investing in Egypt, which enjoys promising opportunities for investment across various fields.

Saudi Arabia is actively pursuing the goal of enhancing bilateral trade with Egypt to reach $100 billion, the Second Vice Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Fayez Alharbi, announced earlier in November.

Alharbi also mentioned that Saudi investors are considering investing in Egypt's renewable energy sector in the near future. He further disclosed that currently 802 Egyptian companies are already investing in Saudi Arabia, and there are plans for further expansion in the kingdom.
