This is particularly true, as the minister added, with the ITI and the National Telecommunication Institute’s (NTI) many programs in the fields of modern digital technologies to sharpen and deepen skills.

The MCIT launched several initiatives to further develop young self-employed Egyptians skills, including the “Your work from your home” initiative, implemented by the Information Technology Institute.

The initiative includes technical content, self-employment skills content, and a base of experts from industry partners and partnering with freelance platforms.

Young self-employment pioneers reviewed the most important specializations and training paths that they undertook with the Egypt Digital Creativity Centers in the governorates. These have contributed to developing their skills and gaining great experience in self-employment via the Internet in technological fields.

The training opportunities have also qualified many of them to obtain high evaluations in global freelance platforms. As a result of these, they have had opportunities for non-traditional work in the regional and global markets with a profitable return that starts at an average of no less than $500 a month.

This includes opportunities with companies in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, Nigeria, India, Ukraine, and Saudi Arabia.
