The Egyptian total exports to China recorded $152 million in May 2023, compared with almost $60 million in the previous month.
This came during his participation in the official luncheon held by the Chinese to the Egyptian ministerial delegation participating in the International Mayor's Forum on Tourism in Zhengzhou, China.
During the luncheon, Amna invited Chinese companies and investors from Henan Province and various Chinese cities, to take advantage of the investment opportunities of Egyptian market in various sectors and fields
Amna pointed out that the importance of the Egyptian market and his appreciation of the level of development of bilateral relations between the two countries considering friendship and mutual respect between the leaderships of Egypt and China.
Local development minister also praised the level of development of political relations considering the close relations between President Sisi and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. And he pointed out the support provided by the BRICS countries, headed by the Republic of China, for Egypt to join the group during its recent meetings in South Africa.
The Chinese delegation announced their plans to launch a direct airline between Cairo and Henan Province, and to expand investment and trade opportunities between the two countries.
