Egyptian home accessories ecommerce platform, Kemitt, announced that it has secured a six-figure seed fundraise from a group of Saudi Angel investors.

“We are very excited about the opportunity that this investment gives us, it will enable us to scale-up our operations and expand to new markets” Mahmoud Fouad, co-founder and CEO at Kemitt said.
Focusing on furniture, office furniture, and home accessories, the platform transforms the home shopping experience and offers all payment and financing plans.
Kemitt is able to expand their variety by partnering with a network of manufacturers enabling them to increase their reach all over Egypt, while ensuring the customer gets the best price in the market.
“We invest in technology to drive growth, and we have prioritized solving logistical pain-points to ensure a smooth journey from the factory to the customer’s home. We believe that digitizing the furniture industry in the region is crucial for the local economy. After all, our goal is to put Kemitt as a first choice when you consider furniture shopping.”
The startup plans to use the funds to expand its team, operations, further develop its technology and enter new markets in the region, starting with Saudi Arabia.
