Sept 13| EGX leans into the green zone, adding EGP 7.4B to market cap

Market capitalization added around EGP 7.4 billion, closing at 731.1 billion compared to Sunday’s EGP 723.682 billion

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s trading in the green, adding an additional EGP 7.4 billion to market capitalization.

EGX 30 inched up by 0.94%, closing at 11140.22 points, while EGX 50 climbed 2.7% to close at 2436.76 points.

EGX 70 rose 2.38%, to close at 2,913.61 points, with EGX 100 jumping by 2.04% to end at 3,911.04 points.

Total number of transactions of the session was 48,451 transactions.

Market capitalization added around EGP 7.4 billion, closing at 731.1 billion compared to Sunday’s EGP 723.682 billion.

Top gainers of the session were Arab Valves Company which climbed by 20%, The Arab Ceramic CO.- Ceramica Remas by 16.77%, United Arab Shipping by 14.7%, and Iron And Steel for Mines and Quarries by 13.4%.

Top losses of the session were Misr Hotels by 10.06%, Minapharm Pharmaceuticals by 5.3%, Misr Beni Suef Cement by 4.5%, and Arab Moltaka Investments Co by 4.5%.
