Market capitalization gained around LE 2.47 billion, recording LE 699.95 billion, compared to LE 697.48 billion in Tuesday’s session
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) continues to stay in the green, closing trading on Wednesday by adding around LE 2.47 billion to market capitalization.
EGX 30 crawled up to the green by 0.06 percent, or 5.96 points, to end at 10,769.22 points, while EGX 50 jumped 1.28 percent, or 29.78 points, to end at 2,360.9 points.
EGX 70 saw a climb of 1.96 percent, or 52.21 points, to close at 2,714.87 points, with EGX 100 rising by 1.54 percent, or 55.89 points, to close at 3,696.79 points.
Market capitalization gained around LE 2.47 billion, recording LE 699.95 billion, compared to LE 697.48 billion in Tuesday’s session.
The trading volume reached 670.48 million shares, traded through 60,901 transactions, with a turnover of LE 2.15 billion.
Egyptian investors were net sellers at LE 37.64 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net buyers at LE 10.38 million, and LE 27.25 million, respectively.
Egyptian and foreign individuals were net buyers at LE 22.31 million, and LE 1.51 million, respectively, while Arab individuals were net sellers at LE 9.5 million.
Arab and foreign organizations bought at LE 19.88 million, and LE 26.1 million, respectively, while Egyptian organizations sold at LE 59.95 million.
El Shams Housing & Urbanization, Zahraa Maadi Investment & Development, and Misr Cement (Qena) were top gainers of the session at 11.58 percent, 11.34 percent and 9.89 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, Gharbia Islamic Housing Development, El Orouba Securities Brokerage, and International Co for Investment & Development were top losers of the session by 8.98 percent, 8.57 percent, and 6.75 percent, respectively.
EGX ended Tuesday in green, as: EGX30 increased 0.62 percent, EGX 50 hiked 2.05 percent, EGX 70 climbed 2.32 percent, and EGX 100 jumped 1.93 percent.
