The deadline was previously extended to the end of February, and now to March
Salary and payroll tax declaration and tax returns deadline is again extended by the Ministry of Finance, however Minister Dr. Mohamed Maait stresses it won’t be extended again.
The new deadline will be until the end of March 2021. Tax declarations were originally slated to be submitted during the first month of the year, however it was extended due to the pandemic’s “exceptional circumstances”.
The deadline was previously extended to the end of February, and now to March.
An official statement notes the ministry and Tax Authority’s eagerness to support and facilitate financiers.
The ministry has also recently reminded citizens of the deadline for submission of real estate tax declarations, which is also until the end of March.
